Ewing Family Association has just announced that the inauguration of Clan Chief John Thor Ewing will occur on Saturday, October 18, 2025. While final details are still to be confirmed, the event is planned to occur in Riddle's Court in Edinburgh. The inauguration and a dinner will be held during the afternoon and evening. In November, the Rothesay Herald, George Way of Plean, informed Ewing that the Lord Lyon accepted his report on the Ewing Family Convention. He then invited Ewing to petition for Arms that will be recognized as the undifferenced Arms of the Chief of the Name of Ewing.
