In its newsletter, Bullseye, the Turnbull Clan Association announced that the Bedrule Church Future has banked over £60,000, which is enough for the purchase and first year's operating costs of acquiring the historic Bedrule Kirk. A Turnbull Clan committee raised over 30% of the initial funding requirement. The foundation is now waiting for Church of Scotland (CoS) solicitors to proceed with the sale documentation. The Turnbull Clan Association has been contacted by other groups seeking to purchase their own historic churches and members have shared their experiences.
