The purposes of The American-Scottish Foundation, Inc., are as follows: to encourage Americans of Scottish descent, Scots living both in the United States and Scotland, and all others friendly to Scotland and the Scottish people, to engage in activities which will create a closer relationship between the American and Scottish people, through the pursuit of contemporary social, cultural, educational, philanthropic, and economic interests and activities.
