McTavish is President of McTavish Spirits, the official Bourbon of the Alaska Scottish Highland Games
Alaskan Scottish Club Announces Guest Appearance of Scottish Actor and Author Graham McTavish, who is known for his roles as Dwalin in The Hobbit film trilogy and Dougal MacKenzie and William Buccleigh MacKenzie in the video series Outlander. With Outlander co-star Sam Heughan, he co-wrote Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other, which hit No. 1 on the New York Times' Best Seller Lists. This was later turned into the  eight-episode travel documentary Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham. McTavish is also the President of McTavish Spirits, the official bourbon of the Alaska Scottish Games on June 29 and 30 in Palmer Alaska. Multiple events from Palmer to Homer are planned over the week of the games.
