The new Clan Campbell Educational Foundation received it IRS letter of determination on October 20, 2023, and replaces the older California foundation
In its April newsletter, Clan Campbell Society North America (CCSNA) announced that the Clan Campbell Educational Foundation (CCEF) is now a 501(c)3 Delaware Corporation. The Society received a generous donation from a member in Pennsylvania which was the first deposit in the new account for the CCEF, as the foundation transitions from being a California corporation. The remit of CCEF as the “cultural support of the Society” is to assist in educating its members and the public concerning Clan Campbell in particular and Scottish history and mores in general. CCEF will help underwrite the quarterly CCSNA JOURNAL, provides 4-year scholarships for students at Lyon College in Arkansas and St. Andrew’s University in North Carolina, supports the publishing of books, coloring books, DVDs, and CDs of Campbell music, and assists schools of Gaelic, Scottish piping, and Scottish dancing in the USA.
