Inauguration Ceremony will officially recognize Peter Carruthers of Holmains as Chief of the Name and Arms
The Clan Carruthers Society will hold its Carruthers Gathering on August 24 to 25, 2024, in Annan, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. The event will include the inauguration of Dr. Simon Peter Carruthers of Holmains as the Chief of the Name and Ars of Carruthers. Although the confirmation and grating of arms occurred in 2019, the clan waited until 2024 so that the inauguration could occur at a gathering of the family. Speakers at the event will also include Ross McEwen and Steve Colburn.
