Society is partnering with the Clan Guthrie Chief to establish kirk as a Guthrie Historical Visitor Center.
Clan Guthrie USA, in partnership with the family of the Clan Guthrie Chief, is establishing a foundation to purchase and maintain the Guthrie Kirk (church) as a Guthrie Historical Visitor Center. It is one of the last historical Guthrie structures available to visit in Guthrie, Scotland. The Kirk was built in 1826 but the site has actually been a place of worship for over 1,200 years. It is located behind the original Guthrie Castle. The kirk is planned to be sold by the Church of Scotland.
