Clan Guthrie USA and Clan Chief meet goal less than a year after beginning fundraising activities.
Clan Guthrie USA announced that the Guthrie Heritage Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation became the official owner of Guthrie Kirk ( Church) in Guthrie, Scotland. Due to the efforts of the Family of the Clan Chieftain Alexander Guthrie of Guthrie and Clan Guthrie, they have secured the Guthrie Church which was listed for sale by the Church of Scotland on March 31, 2024. Fundraising continues to cover the costs of insurance, upkeep and potential Guthrie History Center.
