For the first time in over 370 years, the Clan Buchanan welcomed a new chief: J. Michael Baillie-Hamilton Buchanan, Chief of the Name and Arms of Buchanan. A traditional Scottish ceremony was hosted and organised by the Chief and his Family, held at the Clan Seat in Callander, Stirlingshire, Scotland. The event was marked with a golf tournament, service and clan parliament, and lunch at the Buchanan Castle Golf Course.
