The last MacInnes chief and his sons were killed in about 1358 and the Clan has remained without a chief since. The International Association of Clan MacInnes (IACM) has requested and received corporate arms from the Court of the Lord Lyon. Only members of the IACM may use or display these arms. These arms are differentiated from MacInnes of Malagawatch, which some vendors erroneously sell as the “MacInnes” coat of arms.
