King Charles III made a surprise visit to the Lonach Highland Gathering and Games on August 26. He met with Lonach Patron Sir James Forbes of Newe, 8th Baronet, and many of the participants.For the second year, the Clan Forbes Society was a sponsor of he event and posted a banner at the entrance of the field. After the Games, His Royal Highness had tea at the historic Bellabeg House, built by John Forbes, 2nd laird of Bellabeg, in 1765.
