Three to five awards granted totaling in excess of $30,000. The size and total number of awards varies from year to year. St. Andrew's Society Founders' Prize is an annual award in the amount of $7,500 made to an outstanding Scottish or Scottish-American scholar.
The Hughes Hallett Scholarship is an annual award in the amount of $10,000 supporting the research and studies of doctoral candidates in applied and/or quantitative economics.
Awards are made to scholars enrolled in US or Scottish institutions for the third or fourth year of College or University or full-time graduate study.
